Question WHAT TYPE OF LENSES/TECHNOLOGY ARE USED ON IRIS LENSES?
Answer

We use the latest technology in eyewear to design our CR-39 plastic monomer lenses in order to filter out 100% of blue light that’s emitted from your computer, tv and smartphone screens.

Question HOW DO IRIS GLASSES BLOCK BLUE LIGHT?
Answer

The high quality CR-39 lenses are designed to absorb and deflect blue light wavelengths. It can absorb High Energy Visible (HEV) light and provide 100% protection. The lenses are coated with a reflective transparent base, deflecting the blue light transmitted from your screen and allowing your eyes to rest. The lenses do not affect reading or distorts color.

Question IS THERE MAGNIFICATION ON THE NON-PRESCRIPTION LENSES?
Answer

There isn’t any magnification on our non-prescription lenses. However, for people trying blue light blocking glasses for the first time, your eyes may need to adjust the blue light blocking and the colour contrast. Your eyes will adjust within an hour of wearing your glasses.

Question ARE ALL FRAMES GENDER NEUTRAL?

Yes all our frames are for her, him, they & them, we cherry picked out styles and colors to help our customer express their characters in style.

Question DOES IRIS PROVIDE PRESCRIPTION LENSES?
Answer

Yes, you can order prescription lenses on iris with our blue light blocking technology.

We Provide:

  • Single Vision Lenses
  • Progressive vision lenses.

We offer single vision lenses sphere (sph) correction used for either short or long sightedness in a power range between +6.00 to -8.00, and cylinder (cyl) from +4.00 to -4.00.

You will need your current prescription and pupillary distance (pd) to place your order for prescription glasses. After you place your order with the prescription, you will receive an order confirmation email, you can send us your prescription by replying to the email and attaching a copy of your prescription or you can click on the link in the email to send us your prescription through WhatsApp.

We are shipping our products from KSA and UAE.

Question HOW DO YOU SHIP ORDERS?
Answer

We are using premium shipping services from our courier partner.
Please bear in mind that we can only ship during working days until 2pm. Orders placed after 2pm will only be shipped out the next day.

Question WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY GLASSES?
Answer

Once you have placed your order, you will receive a tracking code to track your order. Generally it takes 1-2 working days for UAE and KSA deliveries.
An additional 3 days are added to delivery when ordering prescription glasses

Question I LIVE OUTSIDE THE UAE, WILL I HAVE TO PAY DUTIES/VAT TO RECEIVE MY GLASSES?
Answer

Your local tax code (final delivery area) determines whether you pay duties or tax. You have sole responsibility of any applicable duties/VAT. Please check with your local post office to learn more about any additional fees imposed upon receiving your order.

WARRANTY & SUPPORT

Question DO THE PRODUCTS HAVE WARRANTY?
Answer

IRIS Provides a 2-year warranty period from purchase date against all manufacturing errors.

The warranty does not cover:

  • Broken temples, frames and/or glasses and other damages that are due to improper use, lack of care, or accidents.
  • Alterations from daily use such as lack of shine, scratches, disappearance of text at the temples, etc.
